As private photos of Former Disney star Demi lovato and actor Wilmer Valderrama reportedly leak online, we have a look at other celebrities who probably wished they'd kept their clothes on and their phones off.
Or locked up.
While the alleged shots of the US X Factor judge show her having a bit of a cuddle and smooch with Wilmer in bed are hardly NSFW, this little lot below didn't fare so well.
1) Vanessa Hudgens
In our minds, actresses famed for starring in High School Musical actually have their dresses sewn onto their bodies, like Cabbage Patch Kids dolls, or those teddies that you get from museum souvenir shops. So kudos to Vanessa for not only showing the whole world that we were wrong (ON MORE THAN TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS). But for also showing the whole world that she doesn’t know how to send text messages, when the naked camera phone pictures were leaked online. Whoops.
2) Scarlett Johansson
We knew that Scarlett had an incredible body anyway. She made that pretty clear in…well: every single public appearance that she’s made since Lost In Translation. She also made it pretty clear in Lost In Translation. And then she allegedly made it clear on the internet, when her phone was allegedly hacked to reveal pictures of her bottom. The photos were apparently meant for her then husband Ryan Reynolds, but didn't quite stay so private, with Scarlett telling Vogue: "I don't want to be a victim and say, 'Oh, well' and just hide my head in shame. Somebody stole something from me....It's sick."
3) Blake Lively
Blake Lively had a lot of sex on Gossip Girl. But having sex on Gossip Girl means having sex while still wearing diamond-encrusted knickers (which is a lot better than anything else encrusted, to be honest) and diamond-encrusted bras. Then she allegedly decided to whip them off and take some pictures, though a denial was issued that said the pictures were not in fact Blake. We'd suggest you made your own mind up, but we don't approve of those kind of Google searches.
4) Miley Cyrus
Anything that one Disney star can do, Miley can do better. Especially when that involves taking completely-naked-and-completely-wrong pictures of herself from Myspace-friendly 45degree angles and pouting at the camera. And if that wasn’t naked and scandalous enough, she then stripped off and wrapped her teenage body in a blanket for the cover of Vanity Fair in 2008. Goodness gracious us.
5) Rihanna
It’s not that we ever expected Rihanna to be body conscious or demure. We just didn’t expect naked photos of her to emerge on the internet in 2009, shortly following her split from Chris Brown, with rumours that he had leaked them. In these days Rihanna was a lot less shocking and in December 2009 actually said that it was: "The worst thing that could possibly ever happen to" her. "I just felt like my whole privacy was taken before that [by the injury photo] and then, when that came out, I thought, 'Oh great, so now there's nothing they don't know about me and my private life.' It was humiliating and it was embarrassing."
6) Leighton Meester
Take everything that we said about Blake Lively, and then apply it to Leighton. The actress actually had things worse, after a full-frontal and extra-graphic sex tape of the star was reportedly released online in 2009. But then her lawyers stepped in and Leighton told People magazine that the tape 'is not real'. So that's that. We can all watch Gossip Girl re-runs without feeling sullied.
7) Ashley Greene
The only thing that Ashley Greene could have done to make her good-girl-gone-bad style naked pictures any worse, would have been to write "I'M MORE THAN JUST A TWILIGHT ACTRESS" across her forehead in lipstick while she was taking them. Because that must have been what she was thinking during the self-photoshoot she did in August 2009. She said afterwards that: "'One of my family members said to me, "Ashley, everyone does it. You’re just famous."'
8) Chris Brown
Turns out that it's not just girls who like to take photos of their bits in the mirror from a sultry (or not sultry) angle. Chris Brown likes to do it too. And with a characteristic lack of remorse, his only real comment after the pictures were leaked in 2010 was, "I was sending it to a girl. Definitely a girl" Because that makes it all OK.
9) Christina Aguilera
We actually thought that this would have happened earlier. But there was still something extra awful about the leaked photos of Christina in December 2010. They just seem really personal. And really naked. A rep for Christina said afterwards: "The photos of Christina Aguilera being leaked to the press were illegally obtained by a hacker who tapped into Christina's personal stylist's account. We find the actions of the hackers and the press who purchased and/or obtained these photos to be irresponsible and actionable. We are attempting to determine the identity of the hackers and will pursue them aggressively. Their conduct is reprehensible."
10) Paris Hilton
And last, but definitely not least, comes One Night In Paris, the best named sex tape of all time, which goes down in (browser) history. In 2004, Paris's ex Rick Salomon released a sex tape of the two of them doing... well read the title. Paris denied any benefit from the tape though, telling British GQ that: ""I never received a dime from the video. It's just dirty money and (Salomon) should give it all to some charity for the sexually abused or something. To be honest, I don't even think about it any more."
11) Kim Kardashian
The 39 minute video of Kim and her then-boyfriend Ray J getting up to all kinds of naughtiness in 2007 catapulted the relatively unknown reality star into megastardom when it was leaked onto the internet. It also directly earned her about £3million after she struck a deal with the rights holders.
