Oh dear: Liza Minnelli suffers wardrobe malfunction at the Oscars as she forgets her underwear

Liza Minnelli almost caused a Twitter meltdown after she appeared to have forgotten to wear a bra on the Oscars red carpet.
The 67-year-old’s electric blue trouser suit didn’t help matters as her nipples seemed to be making a break for it through the fabric.
She even matched her attention grabbing outfit with a streak of blue through her hair.
The unfortunate wardrobe malfunction saw many mock the Cabaret star on social networking sites, with one Twitter user writing: ‘Liza Minnelli, otherwise known as ‘Nip’’, while other tweets compared Minnelli to Smurfs.
The singer and actress attended the 86th Academy Awards to help commemorate the 75th anniversary of her late mother Judy Garland’s most iconic film, The Wizard of Oz.
But she didn’t look too impressed with host Ellen DeGeneres after she appeared to compare the icon to a drag queen.
‘And I have to say one of the most amazing Liza Minnelli impersonators I have seen in my entire life,’ DeGeneres said. ‘Just really, seriously. Good job, sir.’
