Prince Harry will attend England's World Cup match against Costa Rica as he tours Brazil and Chile in June, the royal family announced on Friday.
Harry will cheer from the stands in Belo Horizonte as England play their last group fixture on June 24, a potentially crucial game that could see the team progress to the knockout stages if they win or draw, or return home if they lose.
The prince will also watch tournament hosts Brazil face Cameroon in the capital Brasilia when he arrives in Brazil on June 23.
The prince will also visit Brazil's largest city Sao Paulo before he moves on to the Chilean capital Santiago and the city of Valparaiso during the final three days of the trip.
Harry last attended a World Cup match at the 2010 tournament in South Africa, when he and his elder brother Prince William watched England labour to a goalless draw against Algeria.
Harry's private secretary Edward Lane Fox said: "The prince will carry the good wishes of his brother, who is president of the FA (Football Association), and will be hoping like everybody else that it will be slightly more memorable than the last England World Cup match he attended, and that he will be cheering England on to the knock-out stages with the other fans."
