Academy-Award winning US-Israeli actress Natalie Portman is an avid academic, apart from her career in films. She skipped the premiere of her first successful film “Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace” so she could study for her high school finals. She graduated from Harvard with a Bachelor's Degree in psychology. She was a guest lecturer at a Columbia University course in terrorism and counterterrorism, where she spoke about her film “V for Vendetta”. Portman has also professed an interest in foreign languages since childhood and has studied Hebrew, French, Japanese, German, and Arabic.
