Synopsis
Born on May 16, 1966 in Gary, Indiana, Janet Jackson was the youngest child of the famous Jackson musical clan. After appearing as Penny on the sitcom Good Times , she went on to have a mega-recording career, with albums Control , Rhythm Nation 1814, Janet. and The Velvet Rope all going multi-platinum and producing a slew of hit singles. She has also acted in films.
